Children's Theater Division
Originally, the only theater shows that were performed on the YFE stage, our Children's Theater Division is at the heart of YFE. Since 2015, our division has produced acting workshops and classes for children, and multiple staged shows with children performers and/or for children. These include shows such as Dracula's in the Basement; Charlie & The Chocolate Factory; Pinocchio: A Story from Fairyland; Snow White: A Story from Fairyland; The Lion, the Witch, & The Wardrobe; The Wonderful Wizard of Oz; The Reluctant Dragon; Cinderella: A Story from Fairyland; and Peter Pan.
YFE's motto for its children's division is "Smile. Learn. Create." We hope that everyone involved in the shows, from audience to cast, would have a great time learning while enjoying a show that brings them a smile while inspiring the creative spirit. All of our children's theater productions are rehearsed at The Motherbrook Arts & Community Center, 123 High Street, Dedham, MA. Our performances of said productions have been at the Motherbrook, Fairbanks House, and Fellowship Bible Church over the years.
This way, we are bringing affordable children's theater and acting classes to an area that encompasses the greater Dedham/Westwood communities.

YFE is pleased to announce that its next upcoming Children's Theater production will be held in 2025! We are still deciding whether it will be the Spring or Fall. So, stay tuned for more details!

We do not post or distribute pictures from our children's acting workshops and classes, as those programs are educational in nature and are devised to teach children how to speak in public, work as a team, read, and utilize their imagination.
