Family Theater Division
In 2018, not long after we became a fully operational non-profit theater company, we created a new division at YFE called the Family Theater Division. The goal for this division is to better serve the older family members in our surrounding community, from teenagers to young adults. Producing shows for the family, no matter who your family is.
We started with Pollyanna in 2018, and are very proud to say that this division has become as large and diverse as our Children's Theater Division. We have produced classic works such as Pygmalion and even staged radio plays for a more mature and often elderly audience, including shows such as It's a Wonderful Life.
Unlike our Children's Theater Division, though, Family Theater shows do not always perform within the Dedham area and you might find us at times in Quincy, Randolph, or our home-base in Dedham. Wherever we perform, whether to seniors in a group home or young adults in the city; we will always continue to inspire and uplift families.....no matter who those families are.

Upcoming Family Theater Show
We are pleased to announce that our next Family Theater Production will be A Christmas Carol: A Staged Radio Play in December 2024. Auditions will be held via Zoom in late August/early September. Stay tuned for more details!
