About Us
YFE Theatrical Productions began as the theatrical division of Yellow Fun Entertainment in the Fall of 2015. After having some limited success with a Halloween show, Josef grew the division to oversee production of children's acting workshops, classes, yearly Spring and Fall shows. As the division grew, Josef knew that in order to create stability and continued success for theater in his community, the division needed to break away from the main company.
In August 2018, YFE Theatrical Productions became a non-profit community theater for children and families. We currently offer two community theater shows a year, holding auditions every January for both. As of 2023, every Fall we will be presenting live radio plays of either Holiday Classics or Children's Classics. Each Spring, we will be presenting either shows from classic theater or adaptations from classic literature.
Our goal is to enrich our community with different forms of theater so that everyone, from the young to the old, can enjoy a show that brings them together in a family-friendly environment.
Our current peformance venue is Fellowship Bible Church in Dedham, MA. Rehearsals currently take place at the Motherbrook Arts & Community Center in Dedham, MA.

YFE Staff
Josef Silvia
President & Artistic Director
Josef Silvia hails from Plymouth, MA. He cut his teeth in theater by apprenticing Priscilla Beach Theatre's School of Theater, learning all he could during the five intense years he worked there before becoming an adjunct faculty member for another five. During his high school, college and grad school years, Josef wrote, directed, and performed in many shows for PBT. However, it was the writing, directing and producing that caught Josef's eye. In 2011, he moved to the Boston area and quickly became involved with multiple theater companies in and around the Boston area. This eventually led to the creation of YFE Theatrical Productions, Inc. While Josef is a career-driven manager in another job field, he loves to travel, read, and is currently a published author.
Sarah Feeney
Publicity Manager & Staff Director
Sarah is in her fourth year as a member of YFE Productions' Staff. She directed the 2020 show PETER PAN and the 2021 production of THE WIZARD OF OZ. She is currently co-directing our Spring 2024 Show, PYGMALION. Sarah has worked as an actor for the company in previous years, appearing in CINDERELLA and MIRACLE ON 34TH STREET. When she's not helping with YFE projects, Sarah is hard at work in her career field. She enjoys spending the rest of her little free time watching way too much TV and ordering take out with her cat. She has loved helping YFE become a family favorite for all ages through social media and other marketing. Her passion shines through the most when on stage or directing her fellow actors to produce the quality productions YFE has become known for.
YFE Board Members
We are grateful to be governed by a group of fantastic board members. These include our president as well as Paul Ragusa (clerk), Jordan Greeley (advisor), and Johanna Wald (public relations advisor). Our board members have helped ratify the YFE Theatrical Productions' Bylaws and have added amendments to said bylaws in our initial meetings. We are grateful to have a wonderful group of people dedicated to bringing wholesome family entertainment to the Dedham/Boston area, and allowing for affordable, family-centered theatrical experiences that make a difference in our community.
